The brake in F4 is completely different from karting. Having the brake setup on the simulator exactly as I have it in my F4 car made it so easy to transition to. The brake pressure, pedal travel and pedal angle is all setup to match my F4 car.

Christian Mansell x Cool Performance
Australian racing driver Christian Mansell used his Cool Performance simulator to make the big step from karting to cars, with the brake pressure, pedal travel and pedal angle set up to match his F4 car. He won the 2020 British F4 Rookie Cup with Carlin, finished third in both GB3 and Euroformula Open, then spent two full seasons in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, finishing fifth in 2024 with ART Grand Prix after taking a pole position and five podiums. He made his Formula 2 debut with Trident in Baku later that year, and in 2026 he races a Team Motopark Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in the International GT Open alongside Mercedes-AMG factory driver Maximilian Götz.
