Oliver raced in motorsport for 8 years from go-karting to Formula racing, working alongside his brother, Lando Norris, to support his progression into Formula One.
The development of the Formula Pro racing simulator was a key part of Lando’s journey from karting to 2025 F1 World Champion, and it remains an essential training tool that Lando still uses today. Over the years, Oliver has collaborated with some of the most renowned names in motorsport, gathering valuable feedback to fuel the innovation behind our racer-bred simulators.
Oliver has personally worked with and developed simulators for over 250+ professional drivers across F1, F2, F3, GT3, karting, Le Mans and many other categories. See the full list of drivers here.
Cool Performance CEO & Founder
Having founded Cool Performance back in 2013, Oliver was at the forefront of revolutionary racing simulator technology, bringing factory-grade simulator performance into the homes of professional drivers. Since then, Oliver has developed the simulators through feedback from hundreds of professional drivers , making Cool Performance known as the benchmark in racing simulation.
Oliver's first hand experience as a professional racing driver for 8 years and helping his brother to become an F1 World Champion, have played a huge part in the development of Cool Performance racing simulators. This wealth of knowledge and expertise allows Cool Performance to create the most realistic professional racing simulators on the market for home use.
Oliver still plays a very active role in the daily operations of Cool Performance, directly managing each simulator project from each client. He also still continues to develop the simulator lineup, ensuring Cool Performance stays as the leading racing simulator provider.
Oliver Norris Racing Career
Oliver's racing career spanned 8 years and took him across the world, racing at many well known tracks. At different points in his career, he was teammates with Alex Albon , Logan Sargeant and Zhou Guanyu . Oliver also competed against the likes of Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lance Stroll, Dan Ticktum , of course his brother Lando Norris and many more professional racing drivers, before stepping away from racing to spend time on Cool performance and other business ventures.
Since stepping away from his racing career, Oliver has maintained close ties to the top level of many motorsport disciplines. Oliver has since collaborated with and provided professional racing simulators for elite level track preparation and race practice for over 250+ professional drivers including Carlos Sainz, Sebastian Vettel, Jimmie Johnson, Mick Schumacher, Billy Monger, Jamie Chadwick just to name a few!
