Formula Race Seat
The simulator features Cool Performance’s signature Formula seating system, developed by former Formula drivers to deliver an authentic single-seater driving position with extensive adjustability for different Formula categories. The bespoke seat is finished with Alcantara backing, Kimi’s signature and race number, alongside Petronas turquoise contrast stitching for a premium motorsport finish.
Haptic Feedback System
Kimi’s simulator features Cool Performance’s integrated tactile feedback system, delivering high-frequency vibration throughout the chassis and seating structure to reproduce key vehicle sensations in real time. The system provides immediate driver feedback from gear shifts, kerb strikes, bottoming out, and surface changes with virtually zero latency, helping recreate the feel and responsiveness of driving on track.
Carbon Fibre Trim
The Formula Pro can be configured with genuine carbon fibre components throughout the chassis, enhancing the authentic motorsport aesthetic of the simulator. Kimi’s simulator features a bespoke carbon rear panel with precision-cut lettering, a full carbon fibre footplate, and machined carbon chassis blocks with accent spacers finished in his signature Mercedes-AMG inspired colour scheme.
Custom Chassis
Kimi’s Formula Pro is constructed from over 40 individually manufactured components, all hand-built at Cool Performance’s UK workshop. The rigid zero-flex chassis has been engineered to withstand sustained professional use while maintaining consistent performance and driver feel. Designed in collaboration with Kimi, the simulator features a bespoke two-tone livery inspired by his 2026 Formula One car, with custom paintwork and coordinated colour accents throughout the cockpit.
Triple 27" Displays
The simulator features Cool Performance’s triple wraparound curved displays - the preferred setup for hundreds of professional drivers. The 240Hz high-refresh-rate screens are positioned to deliver the correct driver eye line and optimal peripheral vision on both sides. Minimal bezel gaps between displays create a seamless, highly immersive wraparound driving experience.
Steering Wheel
Kimi wanted the simulator to replicate his W17 Formula One car as authentically as possible, which is why it features the official Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel. Officially licensed by Mercedes-AMG Petronas, every detail has been engineered to mirror the real car, including the distinctive mono clutch paddle and authentic Formula One-inspired control layout.
Wheel Base
The Formula Pro features the CP-S Leo Bodnar SimSteering2 Ultimate system, delivering 26Nm of direct drive force feedback with exceptionally high steering detail and response. The system is tuned in-house using feedback from Cool Performance’s professional driver roster and bespoke CP-S software settings to provide accurate steering weight, front-end feel and consistent force feedback performance across all driving conditions.
Pedal Box
Kimi’s Formula Pro features Cool Performance’s custom hydraulic pedal system, specifically configured to match the pedal weight, travel and braking characteristics of his Formula One simulator setup. Every element of the pedal box is fully adjustable, allowing the driving position and brake feel to be tailored precisely to Kimi’s preferred setup. Using a professional-grade AP Racing master cylinder, the system delivers authentic hydraulic resistance and progressive brake modulation comparable to a real race car.
