Who Are Gaming Simulators For?

Families / Gamers / Enthusiasts / Pro drivers

Everyone. The same simulator works for a ten-year-old on their first lap and an F1 driver preparing for a race weekend; it is just set up differently.

01

Families

Easy to jump into with the driver aids on, and the seat and steering adjust so everyone in the house can take a turn.

02

Gamers Ready To Upgrade

If you already race on a desk-mounted wheel, this is the step up: the same games, with real force feedback, hydraulic braking and a proper cockpit.

03

Car Enthusiasts And Collectors

Drive the cars and circuits you love without the risk, finished to match your garage or your favourite car.

04

Friends And Entertaining

The centrepiece of a games room or cinema room, and the thing everyone wants a go on at a race night.

05

Streamers And Content Creators

A cockpit that looks and feels the part on camera, with streaming setups and stream decks built in if you want them.

06

Aspiring And Professional Drivers

The same platform 10 F1 drivers and over 250 professional drivers train on, for anyone serious about getting faster.

Why The Sport Series Is Serious Value

Pro-grade performance / No compromise on visuals / Everything included

01

Built On Pro Driver Feedback

The Sport Series is shaped by feedback from hundreds of professional drivers, gathered over years of building their simulators. It keeps everything that matters to how a car feels and leaves out only what most people at home will never miss.

02

No Compromise On Visuals

A 32" QHD 240Hz curved monitor at Stage 1 and a 49" DQHD ultra-wide from Stage 2, driven by a water-cooled RTX 5070 gaming PC. Sharp, smooth and properly immersive.

03

The Screen And PC Are Included

A high-refresh monitor and a water-cooled gaming PC are serious purchases on their own. Here they come built in, matched and set up, alongside the frame, wheel base, pedals, seat and our software.

04

Pro-Grade Feel

Direct drive steering and a rigid frame hand-built in-house, so the forces are real rather than approximate. It feels like a car, not a controller.

05

Highly Customisable

Choose the frame colour, upholstery and finish, then build up the spec across three Stages on the same frame, adding CP-S pedals, Simucube direct drive, triple screens or full motion whenever you are ready.

06

Looked After Properly

Lifetime Frame Warranty, 24 months on electrical components and a specialist team who know your build. That is the part a pile of separate parts never gives you.

What Can You Do On A Sim Rig?

Normal games / Online multiplayer / Assist levels

Short answer: everything you do on a gaming PC, with a real cockpit around it. Here is what that looks like day to day.

  • Play any PC gameEvery simulator runs on its own Windows gaming PC, so it plays every PC game, not just racing titles.
  • Race online with friendsJoin online multiplayer races in titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and F1 25, or race against yourself and chase your best lap.
  • Choose your assist levelTurn driver aids such as traction control, ABS, a racing line and automatic gears on or off, depending on the game, from first-timer to full pro settings.
  • Take turns at homeThe seat and steering adjust, so friends and family of different heights can swap in and out between races.
  • Just switch it onIt arrives set up and ready to drive. No building, wiring or tuning, and our team is on hand if you need help.
  • Grow into itStart with the assists on and the Sport Series, then add screens, motion or pro-grade parts as you get faster.

Ultimate Immersion, Built On Pro-Grade Engineering

Screens, sound and full motion

Lights out. The wheel loads up as you turn in, then goes light the moment the front tyres give up. The brake pushes back with up to 200kg of force, so you brake with your leg, not your toes. The screens fill your eyeline, the engine fills the room and, with full motion, you feel the rear start to go through the seat before you see it on screen.

This is the engineering Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz and Kimi Antonelli train on. Nothing about it was designed for a games room, which is exactly why it makes such a good one.

Choose How Much Of The Track You See

Single 49" / Triple 27" and 32" / Triple 55" / Projection

Nothing changes the experience more than the screen. Every option we offer is chosen and set up for simulation, so the only real limit is the size of your room.

49" Single Screen

49" Single Screen

DQHD 5120 x 1440 | 240Hz | 1ms

Triple 27" Curved

Triple 27" Curved

Triple curved monitors

Three curved screens, so you can see into the corner and catch the car alongside you.

Triple 32" Curved

Triple 32" Curved

Graphics And Gaming PCs Built For High Fidelity Sim Racing

Intel Core i9 / NVIDIA GeForce RTX / 240Hz / 1ms

Every simulator has its own water-cooled gaming PC, built in-house, so there is nothing to buy separately and nothing to match up. The Pro models run an Intel Core i9 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, with an RTX 5090 upgrade if you want it. The Sport models run an RTX 5070.

Paired with screens at up to 240Hz and 1ms response, from a 49" DQHD ultra-wide to triple 55" 4K wrap-around, the picture stays sharp and smooth when it matters: flat out, into the braking zone, with a car on your inside.

Full Motion: Feel Every Corner

FIA Licensed D-BOX / Pitch, Roll and Yaw

FIA Licensed D-BOX full motion is available on every simulator we make. Electro-mechanical actuators give you 3 degrees of freedom, Pitch, Roll and Yaw, with 1.5 in of travel.

You feel the car squat under acceleration, the weight shift as you turn in, the thump of a kerb and every gear change, all tuned by our own software to match what a driver feels on track. It is the difference between watching a car move and feeling it.

Seatbelt Tensioners And Wind Simulation

Seatbelt tensioners / Wind simulation / Available on every simulator

Two extras that close the gap between gaming and reality even further. Both are available on every Cool Performance simulator; just ask when you enquire.

01

Seatbelt Tensioners

Harness tensioners that tighten under braking, so the belts pull you into the seat the way a racing harness does when you stand on the brakes.

02

Wind Simulation

Airflow that builds with your speed, so you feel the car picking up pace on a straight and easing off into the corner.

03

Fitted And Tuned By Us

Like everything else, they are fitted in our workshop and set up with our own software, so they work in step with the motion, sound and force feedback.

What Makes A Sim Racing Rig Professional-Grade?

Why it matters / From desk wheel to the end-game setup

If you already race with a wheel clamped to a desk, you know how much the hardware changes things. A professional-grade sim rig is where that road ends: the same games you play now, but felt the way a real racing car feels.

Most consumer rigs use belt or gear-driven wheel bases, basic pedals and frames that move when you stamp on the brake. Ours were built for professional drivers first, with direct drive steering up to 26nm, CP-S Hydraulic Pedals with up to 200kg of braking force and a rigid cockpit made in our own workshop. It is why Lando Norris and nine other F1 drivers have one at home, and why they make such good home sim rigs.

If gaming is the main event, the Formula Sport and GT Sport bring that experience in at a more approachable price, from £11,950 (GT Sport), and you can still add our motorsport-grade components later.

Fun and entertainment / Serious enthusiast / Pro driver spec

Sit in one of our simulators and the line between gaming and reality gets hard to find. Where you put it is up to you.

  • Keep it fun: the Sport Series with the driver aids on, easy for friends and family to jump into.
  • Turn it up: add direct drive upgrades, CP-S pedals, triple screens or full motion as you get more serious.
  • Go all the way: the spec 10 F1 drivers train on, with 26nm of steering force, up to 200kg of hydraulic braking and FIA Licensed D-BOX full motion.

Start wherever feels right. Nothing stops you moving the line later.

Designed Into Your Space From The Planning Stage

Interior designers / Architects / AV companies

Building a new games room, cinema room or garage? Bring us in at the planning stage. We work directly with your interior designer, architect or AV company, and integrate the simulator with your AV setup, so the sim, the screens, the sound and the room are designed together from the start. In an existing room, we match the finish to your interior so it looks like it was always meant to be there.

Smaller Than You Think

Formula Pro 1900 x 1200 mm / GT Pro 1670 x 1200 mm

People expect a simulator to take over a room. Ours are designed to be compact, and need far less dedicated space than most on the market.

  • Formula Pro: 1900 x 1200 x 1050 mm
  • GT Pro: 1670 x 1200 x 1050 mm
  • A 49" ultra-wide screen is the most compact display option. Triple screens and projection need more width.

That is less than a fifth of a standard UK parking space, and because we build every frame ourselves, we can adjust it to fit the space you have.

"The difference is, this sim is small, compact and fits in my living room!" Mick Schumacher, former Haas F1 driver.

The F1 Gaming Setup, As The Drivers Use It

Used by 10 F1 drivers

F1 drivers use their simulators at home to learn circuits, rehearse race starts and stay sharp between race weekends. The Formula Pro was first designed for Lando Norris. Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, George Russell and Sebastian Vettel followed, and Kimi Antonelli became the tenth F1 driver to commission one.

Your gaming simulator is built on that same platform. You choose the screens, the motion and the finish; the engineering underneath does not change.

CP-S Software Modelling / Custom Car Models / Remote Coaching

Great hardware only gets you halfway. Our CP-S software is developed in-house with professional drivers, and our software modelling has been refined over 5 years with feedback from hundreds of them.

  • Custom car models for the major titles, built on real life steering torque data, so the steering feels like the car you are driving.
  • Set up around you, from seating position and pedal forces to steering weight and software configuration, so it grows with the driver.
  • Works with the games you play, including iRacing, Assetto Corsa, rFactor and F1 25.
  • Remote coaching is available with our software: data from a professional driver and a full report on where your time is going.

Which Games Can You Play On A Sim Racing Setup?

iRacing / Assetto Corsa / ACC / Le Mans Ultimate / F1 25

Every Cool Performance simulator runs on its own Windows gaming PC, so it runs every PC game. For racing, that includes:

  • iRacing
  • Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Assetto Corsa EVO
  • rFactor 2 and Le Mans Ultimate
  • Automobilista 2
  • F1 25
  • EA Sports WRC and Dirt Rally 2.0
  • BeamNG.drive
  • KartKraft

VR works too. The game is only half the story, though: the same title feels completely different with 26nm of force feedback in your hands and a hydraulic brake under your foot.

VR Sim Racing Setups

Headset / 360 degree view / Less space

Any of our simulators can be set up for VR. Put the headset on and you are sat inside the car, with real depth and a full 360 degree view. You look into the apex, glance at your mirrors and pick your braking point the way a driver does.

  • Less space: no screens needed, so VR is the most compact way to get full immersion.
  • Power to drive it: the built-in water-cooled gaming PC, up to an RTX 5090, is built to run VR smoothly.
  • Works with the major titles: iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2 and Automobilista 2 all support VR.
  • Screens or VR: keep a screen for everyone else to watch, and put the headset on when you want to disappear into it.

Streaming Setups For Sim Racing

Stream decks / Streaming setups / Content creation

Racing on stream or making content? We can build the whole streaming setup around your simulator, with stream decks mounted where your hands can reach them and everything wired into the built-in gaming PC, so going live takes no more effort than getting in.

It is all part of the same build, with the same team behind it: one simulator that races, records and streams.

Gaming Simulator FAQs

What is a gaming simulator?

A gaming simulator, also called a sim rig or sim racing setup, is a cockpit that puts you in a real driving position, with a wheel, pedals and screens connected to a racing game. Ours were built for professional drivers, with direct drive force feedback, hydraulic braking and a rigid frame, so it feels like driving a car rather than playing a game.

Which gaming simulator is best for a family?

The Sport Series: the GT Sport and Formula Sport. They are our best fit for gaming, rated Beginner to Advanced, the easier place to start on budget, and they come in 3 Stages so you can upgrade later.

What is the most affordable Cool Performance gaming simulator?

The GT Sport, and the Sport Series starts from £11,950 (GT Sport). It takes what we learnt from our Pro models into a more affordable, easy to use package, with 3 Stages to upgrade through and motorsport-grade parts like CP-S pedals available. For young drivers, the Karting Simulator Pro is the entry point.

How much does a full sim racing setup cost?

Our Sport Series gaming simulators start from £11,950 (GT Sport). In your currency: GT Sport from £11,950, Formula Sport from £13,950, GT Pro from £28,900, Formula Pro from £30,600 and Half F1 Car Cockpit from £85,000. The Karting Simulator Pro is the entry point for young drivers. Your screens, motion and finish set the final price in the configurator.

Are Cool Performance simulators only for professional drivers?

No. They are built for professional drivers, which is exactly what makes them such good gaming simulators. Driver aids and difficulty adjust from complete beginner to full pro settings, and the Sport Series (Formula Sport and GT Sport) is our best fit for gaming, rated Beginner to Advanced.

Are they worth it for casual gamers and families?

If you want a sim racing setup everyone in the house will actually use, yes. You get a complete simulator, delivered door to door and ready to drive, with a Lifetime Frame Warranty and a specialist team behind it, instead of sourcing, building and tuning a rig yourself. The screen and gaming PC are included too.

How is a professional-grade simulator different from a consumer gaming rig?

The hardware that carries the forces. Consumer rigs usually use belt or gear-driven wheel bases, basic pedals and light frames. Ours use direct drive steering up to 26nm, CP-S Hydraulic Pedals with up to 200kg of braking force, a rigid cockpit hand-built in-house and a built-in water-cooled gaming PC, delivered turnkey.

What is the best gaming simulator you make?

For a home, the Formula Pro and GT Pro, with the full professional spec F1 drivers use. For something truly special, the Half F1 Car Cockpit, built from a genuine F1 car mould. Any of them can add triple screens, full motion and bespoke finishes. Compare them all on our racing simulators page.

Which games does it run?

Every PC game, because each simulator runs on a Windows gaming PC. For racing that includes iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa EVO, rFactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2, F1 25, EA Sports WRC and Dirt Rally 2.0. It also comes with our CP-S software.

Can a gaming simulator run normal PC games?

Yes. Every Cool Performance simulator runs on a Windows gaming PC, so it can run every PC game, from the major sim racing titles to anything else you want to play.

Can I race online with friends?

Yes. You can join online multiplayer races in titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and F1 25, or race offline against the AI or your own best lap.

Can beginners use driver assists?

Yes. Driver aids such as traction control, ABS, a racing line and automatic gears can be turned on or off depending on the game, so a first-timer and an experienced driver can use the same simulator.

Is a gaming simulator hard to use?

No. It arrives set up and ready to drive, so you switch it on, pick a game and go. Our team can help with anything you need after delivery.

Can I use VR on a sim racing setup?

Yes. Any of our simulators can be set up for VR, as well as single, triple or projection screens. VR needs the least space, and titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and rFactor 2 support it.

Can I add seatbelt tensioners or wind simulation?

Yes. Seatbelt tensioners that tighten under braking and wind simulation that builds with your speed are available on every simulator we make. They are not in the configurator, so just mention them when you enquire and a specialist will add them to your quote.

What PC and graphics card comes with the simulator?

A custom water-cooled Windows gaming PC with an Intel Core i9 is built in. The Pro models have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with an RTX 5090 upgrade available, and the Sport models have an RTX 5070, paired with screens at up to 240Hz and 1ms response.

Does a gaming simulator come with software?

Yes. Every simulator comes with CP-S software modelling, developed in-house with feedback from hundreds of pro drivers, including custom car models backed up with real life steering torque data. It works with iRacing, Assetto Corsa, rFactor, F1 25 and more, and remote coaching is available.

Can you set up a sim rig for streaming?

Yes. We build streaming setups around the simulator, including stream decks, integrated with the built-in gaming PC.

How much space does a sim rig need?

Less than most people expect. The Formula Pro is 1900 x 1200 x 1050 mm and the GT Pro 1670 x 1200 x 1050 mm, and a single 49" ultra-wide screen is the most compact display option. We build our frames in-house, so we can adjust them to fit your space.

Can I customise my sim rig?

Yes. Each model is fully customisable: frame colour, upholstery, stitching, embroidery, screens, motion and audio, in the configurator. We also build totally bespoke gaming setups as a bespoke project.

Can you work with my interior designer, architect or AV company?

Yes. We can spec your simulator at the planning stage of a new room, work directly with your interior designer, architect or AV company, integrate it with your AV setup and match the finish to an existing space. See our bespoke projects.
